I understand from people who knew me
never expected me to leave in my early 20's
for New York City where I pursued a
singing and acting career. I had some
success and a lot of heartache.

Never discourage those who have dreams,
but remember too that dreams are subject
to change.

It was just after my father passed away
and getting through the hurting, it was
then that my lampshades and wall art
were born.

Knowing that these wonderful unique
lampshades and wall art created by me
are being enjoyed by others is truly a
dream come true for me.

This is Peaches

At 17, I joined the U.S. Navy and served as a
Boatswain's Mate on an ocean going tugboat, the
USS Seneca AtF91. I was on active duty aboard the Seneca as part of the Cuban Blockade during the Cuban Missile Crisis under the watch of President John F. Kennedy.

Because of health problems, I was faced with early retirement. I thoroughly enjoy working with wood.
Each work displayed is individually created and
completed by me.

My woodturnings and wood craft creations are an extension of me. Each piece of wood has its own mystery and surprise. There is a spirit of the natural wood that I look forward to bringing out.

I am pleased to be represented on the
Lighting Art 2000 web site.
